Recknägel
Bonnet and Heubach Robbie
Reproduction
all-bisque babies with painted eyes.
Robbie
is a Seeley mould with fixed head and
torso. His knitted outfit is from one of the Jane Woodbridge Doll
Designs patterns. However his baby body is so well moulded it
is a pity to cover it with clothing.
The
bonnet baby is a Rechnägel head mould from Wanke.
I painted her as the original - in rather interesting colours; there
were white dots on the bonnet which I did not copy. I used Robbie's
torso for her body. Her crochet dress and knickers are an adaptation
of an Anne Lim pattern in the book
she published with Joan Nerini.
